Terms of use

Version 3, in force since 3 November 2026

What changed

Says that balls, videos and Ad-free can play your season's next match early, what that means in a season with friends, and that its points don't count on the Points board; that videos have no daily limit; and what Ad-free gives each day. Also that our Stripe prices are in rupees, with the taxes we charge, and Stripe may offer your own currency; that you can ask us for a refund within 7 days, or 14 in the UK or the EU; and what we refund if CricMic closes or we end an account.

These terms are the agreement between you and us for using CricMic: the website at https://cricmic.com and the CricMic apps. Please read them. If you don't agree, please don't use CricMic.

Who we are

CricMic is run by Nexever Private Limited, Design Place, A-28 (K), Phase 7 Industrial Area, Mohali, Chandigarh Sector 55, Rupnagar, S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali), Punjab 160055, India ("we", "us"), which also publishes the CricMic apps on the App Store and on Google Play. Its corporate identity number is U72900PB2016PTC045218. Where we sell balls and Ad-free ourselves, we are the seller.

You can write to us through our contact form or at support@cricmic.com.

Accepting these terms

You accept these terms when you sign in, when you make an account, or when you tap Accept where we ask. Playing without an account also means you accept them.

Our community rules are part of these terms. They say what you may not post, how to play fair, and what happens when someone breaks them.

We may update these terms. Each version is listed on this page with the date it came into force and what changed. When a change matters to you, we ask you to accept the new version when you sign in or when you next open CricMic, and before you write in chat. If you don't accept it, you can delete your account at any time.

Who can use CricMic

You must be 13 or older to use CricMic, with an account or without one.

If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian. For someone under 18, other fans see only a handle, never a name. The account also holds the email address and the year of birth, which others never see. It is shown no ads and no sponsors' promotions, can't buy anything, and is never used for targeting.

Free to play, never for money

CricMic is free to play. You can buy balls and Ad-free if you want to, as below, but nothing you buy changes a score, a rank, a badge, a level or who is ahead. Balls can play your season's next match early, but it is the same match, and it earns no more than it would at its time.

No game in CricMic is ever played for money. Nobody pays to take part in a game, and no game offers a prize of money or of anything worth money. Ranks, points, levels, titles, badges and shoutouts have no cash value, and can't be sold, swapped or exchanged for anything. The auction's crore and lakh are only part of the game.

Your account

You can sign in with a code we send to your email address, with your Google account, or in the iPhone app with your Apple account, wherever we offer them. If you choose Apple's Hide My Email, we use the address Apple gives us. Keep your email account safe, since anyone who can read it can sign in as you.

Your handle must be your own and must follow our community rules. We may refuse a handle or a name, or change one that breaks these terms.

You can sign out on every device in Me on the website or in Settings in the app. You can delete your account in Settings in the app or at Delete your account on the website.

What you write

You can write chat messages in leagues and live auction rooms, and give names to your franchise and your season. On a page you run, you can name it, describe it and ask polls. You own what you write. You let us show it, store it and use it to run CricMic, for as long as it stays in CricMic. Our content and copyright policy says more.

You agree not to write or share anything our community rules list. A word filter checks what you write, and you can report anything or block anyone. We review reports, and we may remove what breaks these terms and ban an account that does.

Creators' pages

If you run a page on CricMic as a creator:

Buying balls and Ad-free

Adults only. Only a fan of 18 or over can buy anything. Anyone under 18, or whose age we don't know, is shown nothing to buy, and we refuse a purchase from them.

What you can buy.

Energy may change. We may change how Energy works: what uses it, how much, and how it fills up again. We tell you in the app before a change makes Energy harder to keep.

Who sells, and how you pay.

When we sell, the seller is Nexever Private Limited, which owns and runs CricMic. You pay on the secure page of Stripe, a payment company, by card, UPI or another way it offers there. We never see your card, bank or UPI details. Your bank or UPI statement shows the name NEXEVERSERVICES, and Stripe emails you a receipt. Stripe's own terms apply to the payment. If you pay with a card issued outside India, Stripe asks for your name and billing address, as India's rules for payments from abroad require.

Prices. Prices are shown before you pay. When we sell, our prices are set in Indian rupees and include the taxes we charge, such as GST where it applies. Outside India, Stripe's page may also offer to charge you in your own currency, at Stripe's exchange rate, and shows you that amount before you pay; if you pay in rupees instead, your bank may convert it and charge its own fees. Apple and Google Play show their prices in your own currency, with the taxes they collect. The price shown when you pay is the price you pay. We may change prices for later purchases.

Getting what you bought. What you buy is added to your CricMic account as soon as the store or Stripe confirms the payment, usually within seconds. Some payments take longer to confirm, and what you bought is added once they do. If you paid and nothing was added, write to us through our contact form with the date and the amount, and we add it or refund you. Buy while signed in, so what you buy stays with your account on every device. What you buy without an account stays with that phone's guest account until you sign in.

Refunds.

Restoring. Ad-free and balls stay with your CricMic account however you bought them: sign in to keep them on any device. Ad-free bought from Apple or Google Play without signing in comes back with Restore purchases in the app's Settings, where the app shows it, signed in to the same store account. If you can't get back something you bought, write to us through our contact form and we restore it.

If CricMic closes. If we ever close CricMic, we stop selling at once and tell you in the app at least 30 days ahead. We refund Ad-free bought from us in the 12 months before we stop selling, and the balls you bought from us in that time and haven't used, at the price you paid for them. For what you bought from Apple or Google Play, ask the store.

Ads in the app

In the CricMic app, a fan of 18 or over may be shown ads from Google AdMob:

Before the first ad, we tell you what Google receives, in a notice called Ads from Google. The ads aren't chosen for you from what you do on other apps or websites. No one under 18, or whose age we don't know, is shown an ad, and there are no ads on the website. You can turn video offers off in the app's Settings, and Ad-free removes the full-screen ads and the banners. We may make an account ad-free, such as a creator's or a tester's.

An ad never changes a score, a rank or who is ahead, and a video unlocks play, never money, a prize or anything that can be sold or swapped.

What we never advertise. We block ads for any game played for money (team-picking games and card games played for money included), games of chance and prize draws, crypto, trading tips, loans and get-rich-quick offers, alcohol and tobacco (including ads that stand in for them), dating, politics, religion and astrology, and anyone claiming to be an official cricket board, league or team. If you see one, tell us through our contact form and we block it within a day.

Playing a season match early

In your own season, in a season with friends, and in one from a live auction, you can play your next match day now instead of waiting for its time: with three videos in the app, with Ad-free's daily number, or with balls. The number of balls is shown before you play. Creators' and public leagues don't offer it.

It is the same match, played the same way it would be at its time, with the team sheets sent by then. It earns the points it would have earned at its time, only sooner. The points of a match day played early, by you or by a friend, count toward your level but not on the Points board, and neither do the points for finishing a season in which any match day was played early. The rest of the season then moves up: one match day a day, at the season's time, from the next day.

In a season with friends, any owner can play the next match day early, and it plays for everyone. A friend who hasn't sent a team sheet for it plays their saved default team, and it doesn't count as a missed day for them. The others are told the day was played early, never by whom.

If the match day plays before you do, at its time or because a friend played it early, nothing is spent: no balls, and none of Ad-free's daily number.

Sponsors

Some screens show a sponsor's own picture or video, labelled Sponsored: on the app's opening screen, on Play, and between games in place of another ad. We choose where and how often, and never in a game while you play it. Like ads, they are never shown to anyone under 18 or whose age we don't know, and Ad-free removes them.

A sponsor answers for what its promotion says, and for its own site and goods. We check each promotion before it shows, refuse any we don't think fit, and take one down at once if it breaks our rules or the law. We never show a promotion for any of the things we never advertise above. A promotion is never a prize and never changes a score, a rank or who is ahead. Tell us about one through our contact form.

Complaints and our Grievance Officer

If you have a complaint about CricMic, including about something another fan wrote or something you bought from us, use our contact form or write to our Grievance Officer, Amandeep Singh, at grievance@cricmic.com. We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days. Anything that shows a person in a sexual way, exposes them or pretends to be them is taken down within 24 hours of a complaint about it. Our complaints and grievances page says how it works.

Cricket facts and names

Statistics come from Cricsheet (cricsheet.org), under the Open Data Commons Attribution licence. A few facts, such as the captains of each season and real auction prices, we enter ourselves from public records. Players' names and figures are used as facts only.

CricMic is not connected with, or endorsed by, any cricket board, league, team or player. The franchises in the auction are made up, and named after cities. National sides are marked with their country's flag, never with a board's or a team's logo.

Playing fair

Most puzzles, scores, auctions and matches are worked out on our servers. Where a game measures something on your device, such as the timing of a shot or an umpire's calls, we check that the result is possible. Don't use bots, scripts, more than one account or any trick to gain an advantage, and don't take apart, copy or interfere with CricMic.

Some players you see on the boards, and some opponents you meet, may be computer-controlled, for example in Versus when no one else is waiting.

On a Match XI, the number of XIs picked and the number of answers to a poll start from a figure we set, so they are not an exact count of fans. The percentages are worked out from real picks and answers only, and are shown once there are enough of them.

We may correct a score, remove a result that was gained unfairly, and reset a board.

Our content

The games, the code, the design, the words and the pictures of CricMic belong to us or to those who license them to us. You may use CricMic for your own enjoyment. You may not copy, sell or reuse any part of it without our permission.

Changes to CricMic

We may change, pause or stop any part of CricMic at any time. We will try to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of faults.

Ending

You can stop using CricMic and delete your account at any time. Deleting it ends your balls and Ad-free bought from us, which can't be moved to another account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we have to by law. If we end an account because it broke these terms, its balls and Ad-free end with it and aren't refunded, unless the law gives a right to a refund. If we end an account for any other reason, we refund what was bought from us as we would if CricMic closed.

Our responsibility

CricMic is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any indirect loss, or for anything outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit, or takes away your rights as a consumer under India's Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or under the law where you live.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute can't be settled by writing to us first, the courts at Mohali (S.A.S. Nagar), Punjab, India, can hear it. This doesn't stop you from taking a complaint to a consumer commission as the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 allows. If you live in another country, you keep the protections its law gives you.
