Complaints and grievances
Version 2, in force since 2 November 2026
What changed
Adds our contact form as the quickest way to complain, with a reference at once, and how complaints about something you bought are handled.
If something on CricMic isn't right, tell us. This page says who handles complaints, what to send, and how fast we answer.
Our Grievance Officer
India's IT Rules, 2021 ask us to name a Grievance Officer. Ours is:
- Name: Amandeep Singh
- Email: grievance@cricmic.com
- Post: Nexever Private Limited, Design Place, A-28 (K), Phase 7 Industrial Area, Mohali, Chandigarh Sector 55, Rupnagar, S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali), Punjab 160055, India
- Corporate identity number: U72900PB2016PTC045218
You can complain about anything on CricMic: something another fan wrote, a decision we made about your account, your data, something you bought, or how the service works for you.
Something you bought. If you bought from us, paying through Stripe, we handle the complaint and any refund, as our terms of use say. If you bought from Apple or Google Play, the store decides a refund under its own policy, and we help with anything else, such as something that wasn't added to your account.
What to send
- Your handle, or the email address of your account, so we can find it.
- What happened, and where: a link, the league or room, and roughly when.
- What you would like us to do.
- For something you bought, the date, the amount and where you paid (Stripe, Apple or Google Play), and Stripe's receipt if you have it.
- If it is about something someone else posted, why it breaks our community rules or your rights.
We may ask you to show the account is yours before we act on a request about its data.
How fast we answer
- Every complaint: we acknowledge it within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days. This also meets the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, which ask for 48 hours and one month.
- Removing something on the list in our community rules: we act on it as fast as we can, and within 72 hours.
- Anything that shows a person in a sexual way, exposes their body or pretends to be them, including a changed picture: we take it down within 24 hours of the complaint.
The quickest way is our contact form, choosing A complaint (grievance): it gives you a reference at once and emails it to you. You can also write to the Grievance Officer, or use the Report button beside a fan, a chat message, a room or a poll. Our staff read every report.
If you are not happy with our answer
- About something posted or removed, or your account: you can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee within 30 days of our answer, at gac.gov.in.
- About your data: you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
- As a consumer: you can call the National Consumer Helpline on 1915, or go to a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Orders from a court or the government
We act on a lawful order from a court or an authorised government agency. We take down what it orders within 36 hours, and give information it lawfully asks for within 72 hours. Authorities can write to grievance@cricmic.com.
A breach of your data
If you think your data on CricMic has been exposed, or you have found a security problem, write to support@cricmic.com at once, with "Security" in the subject. If a breach affects you, we tell you and the Data Protection Board of India, and we report security incidents to CERT-In within 6 hours, as the law asks.
Anything else
For anything that isn't a complaint, use our contact form or write to support@cricmic.com.
