Cricket timeline: order the debuts

Cricket Timeline is a free daily puzzle: put five cricket debuts in order, earliest first. Each card names a player and a format, with no dates. You get one try, and a new timeline comes at midnight India time, the same for everyone.

How to play

  1. Read the five cards, each a player's first match in a format.
  2. Move each card up or down until the order looks right, earliest first.
  3. Lock your order when you are sure; there is one try.
  4. See the true order and the date of each debut.

Scoring

Five cards make ten pairs, and each pair you put the right way round scores 10, up to 100. So a nearly right order still scores well.

Fair to work out

The debuts are at least 30 days apart and come from at least three different years, so you can order them without knowing exact dates.

Questions

Is there a cricket timeline game?

Yes. Each day it gives you five cricket debuts to put in order, free, with a new set at midnight India time.

How many tries do I get?

One. Once you lock your order, the dates are shown.

Do I lose everything for one mistake?

No. You score for every pair in the right order, so swapping two cards costs only part of the score.
