Speed Round: ten umpire calls in 60 seconds

The Speed Round is a free 3D umpiring game against the clock: ten umpire calls in 60 seconds. You face LBW appeals, caught behind and run outs from square leg, and quick and right beats quick. Play it on the web or in the app, at the level you choose.

How to play

  1. Pick a level: Club, First-class, Test or Elite panel.
  2. Tap Start the clock when you are ready.
  3. Give each call out or not out; every call is saved as you make it.
  4. When the ten are done or the minute is up, see which calls you got right.

Scoring

Each right call scores 8. Time left once your tenth call is in adds 2 a second, up to 20, scaled by how many calls you got right, so random fast taps never pay. A call you don't make scores nothing.

Rounds and levels

Each level has numbered rounds, the same for everyone, mixing the three kinds of call with between three and seven outs. Club has the clearest calls and the Elite panel the finest margins. The Speed Round uses Energy, which refills by itself.
