Higher or lower: the cricket stats game
Higher or Lower is a free daily cricket stats game. Two cricketers, one career number, such as ODI runs or Test wickets: which one has more? Keep the chain going through ten calls. A new chain comes at midnight India time, the same for everyone.
How to play
- Today's stat is shown at the top, the same for the whole chain.
- You see one player's number; the next player's stays hidden.
- Tap the player you think has more.
- A right call shows the number and brings the next player.
- One wrong call ends the run, and ten right calls solve it.
Scoring
Your score is how many calls you get right in a row, up to ten. An equal number counts as right either way. The next player's number reaches your phone only once you have called it.
Where the numbers come from
Every number is a career figure from Cricsheet's open records of past matches, counted by code. Chains run from easy on Monday to the hardest on Sunday.
