Record holder: the cricket records quiz

Record Holder is a free cricket records quiz. Each puzzle names a career record from franchise T20 cricket, worked out from the data, and you say who holds it. Take hints if you need them. Puzzles are numbered, with an archive, and a question is never asked twice.

How to play

  1. Read the record and the date its figures are correct to.
  2. Search for a player and make a guess; you have three.
  3. Take up to three hints, in order, such as his country, the decade he first played and the franchise he played for most, by its city.
  4. Name the holder, or see who it is and his figure.

Scoring

Start at 100, less 20 for each hint and 15 for each wrong guess. Four choices are there at a hint's price.

Where the records come from

Each record is counted by code from Cricsheet's records of a T20 league they hold in full. A tie at the top never makes a puzzle. When every record has had its turn, new ones come as our team adds them.
