Career path: guess the cricketer from their teams
Career Path is a free cricket quiz: name the player from the teams he played for, in the order he first played for them. You start with one team and see another after each wrong guess. Puzzles are numbered, with an archive, so play any time.
How to play
- See his first team and the years he played for it.
- Search for a player and make a guess; you have five.
- Each wrong guess shows his next team.
- National sides show by name, and franchise sides by their city alone.
- Name him, or see who it was.
Scoring
Solve it with one team shown for 100, with 20 less for each extra team. Ask for four choices and your answer scores half.
Who appears
Well-known players of recent years with at least three teams and a path no other player shares. Puzzles are numbered and the same for everyone: go on to the next one, or open any from the archive.
Questions
Can I guess the cricketer from his teams?
Yes. Career Path shows his teams in order, one at a time, and you name him in five guesses.
Is there a new puzzle every day?
Career Path isn't daily. Its puzzles are numbered, so you can play the next one whenever you like and go back through the archive.
Why are some teams shown by a city?
Franchise sides show by their city alone, never by a club's name.
